  • Why do people take enzymes?

The human body fails to absorb all nutrients from foods unless they are first broken down by digestive enzymes.  In time, the enzymes that we have within our bodies lose their ability to break the food, and that’s why external supplements are necessary. Although pills and supplements could be an alternative, the best way is to consume foods that are rich in enzymes. Some great foods are pineapples, papayas and sprouts.
